Puppy-IR
The EU/FP7 STREP Puppy-IR will start per April 1, 2009. NIRICT participates through UT as coordinator.
The Internet offers children exciting new ways to meet people, learn about different cultures and develop their creative potential. However, children's ability to use the Internet is severely hampered by the lack of appropriate search tools. Puppy-IR will design an Open-Source platform for information services that will help tailor IR systems to use by children and with new paradigms for interaction and result presentation. Read more >
