NIRICT is not just about doing research. While an important part of the work consists of research, NIRICT has invested in partnerships to ensure the applicability of this research on many levels.
In 2008 a partnership with the Embedded Systems Institute (ESI) has come together by means of a joint research unit (JRU). One of the goals of this partnership is to enhance social and economic value based on research on Embedded Systems.
Since 2009 NIRICT has been one of the core partners of EIT.ICT Labs. One of the goals of EIT is to establish new partnerships between business and academia based on trust, transparency and mobility of people and ideas thereby speeding up innovation to address the grand challenges facing our society.
